Mostly white savior bull💩 that is set in the worst parts of Africa. Western people will never make something set in the many normal looking architecturally developed parts of "Dar es Salaam" Tanzania, "Accre" Ghana or "Nairobi" Kenya. Cause it ruins the "they need light colored folks close to them to have civilization" narrative. Then you wonder why Hollywood is woke. Woke Hollywood is just a lousy attempt to respond to the anti-black version of "woke" entertainment (like the movies listed in this video and "Tears Of The Sun").
i have never seen any African historical movies in my life like king and queen history.what i mean is a historical movies like Chinese or Korean. any suggestion please?
There are africans and and terroist raid in and the peoples are dead except for the kids they and i think they looking something like a base and than like 25 years ago they are big and moves to america
Do you guys know this movie? If my grammar is bad please correct it and im a filipino
being probably the only one in these comments from africa i respect your order of the films… just one question… what is the name of the song playing throughout the video
How about Yeelen, Buud Yam, Silences of the Palace, Finye, Moolaadé, The Nightingale's Prayer, Waiting for Happiness, Bab Aziz, Touki Bouki, The Land, Ceddo, The Battle of Algiers, Pépé le Moko…?
Interesting assortment – and not one Tarzan film! Suggest some of the old-school Black and White (and colour) films are also more than just mere contenders eg White Witch Doctor (Robert Mitchum, Susan Hayward) as well as King Solomon's Mines (Stewart Granger, Deborah Kerr) and of course The African Queen (Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn). And let us not forget Zulu (Stanley Baker, Michael Caine). However, my selections would be based upon entertainment value unlike many of the above, but at least they are in keeping with the title 'The Best 12 Movies In Africa' – unlike many in the video.
